Protests Abroad: Tearing and Stepping on the Indian Flag — Does This Make the BJP Happy?

When protests take place in foreign countries and the Indian national flag is torn, insulted, or stepped on, it is deeply disrespectful to India and its people.

But does such an incident actually make the BJP happy? Or does it instead strengthen the political narrative that India is being targeted or disrespected abroad?

Disrespecting the Indian flag should not be viewed as a victory for any political party. The national flag represents the entire country—not the BJP, not the Congress, and not any individual government.

Political disagreements are normal in a democracy, but insulting the national flag is an insult to the nation itself.
