Jill Harth is a makeup artist and businesswoman. She was the ex-girlfriend/wife of George (John) Houraney. In the 1990s, she publicly accused Donald Trump of sexual misconduct.
Main Allegations (1992–1993):
• December 1992: During a business meeting at Trump Tower, while having dinner with Trump and her then-boyfriend George Houraney, Trump allegedly reached under the table and tried to put his hand between Harth’s legs.
• January 1993: At Trump’s Mar-a-Lago resort in Florida, where they had gone to finalize a business deal. Harth claimed Trump cornered her, pushed her against a wall, tried to kiss her forcefully, and put his hand up her dress. She described the incident as an “attempted rape.”
• She alleged that Trump repeatedly tried to get her alone for sexual advances, even though he knew her boyfriend was nearby.
Legal Action:
• In 1997, Jill Harth filed a lawsuit against Trump accusing him of sexual harassment and “attempted rape.”
• She withdrew the lawsuit a few weeks later after Trump settled a separate breach of contract lawsuit filed by George Houraney (related to a beauty pageant/festival deal called American Dream). The settlement amount was undisclosed.
• Harth has stated that she dropped the sexual harassment suit as part of the business settlement.
Later Statements:
• During the 2016 presidential campaign, Harth came forward again and repeated her allegations in interviews with The Guardian, New York Times, and others.
• Trump has always denied the accusations, calling them “false” and saying he “never touched this woman.”
• Harth has stood by her claims to this day.
