God's blessings are countless. No man can measure it. It is stated in the Holy Qur'an: If you want to count the favors of Allah, you will not be able to. If man turns away from the whole world and focuses only on his own existence, then he will realize that his body is a small world in which all the signs of the big world exist. His body is equal to the earth. Kesharaji is like a plant. His bones are like mountains and the veins through which the blood flows are like rivers or seas. Human existence is a combination of two things. One is the body and the other is the soul. It is also recognized that the soul is the best part of the human body and the body is subordinate to the soul and of inferior quality. The doctors who examined this inferior part said that Allah Ta'ala has placed five thousand types of elements in the human body. It contains more than three hundred pairs. Each pair is given by God in such a beautiful and strong way that despite constant movement, there is no change in it and no need for any repair. Generally, the age of people is seven-seventy years. For a long time his limbs are always moving, but no change is seen in them. Allah Ta'ala has said - 'It is I who created man and I strengthened their pairs.' The result of this nature of strength is that, normally, it is extremely soft and wobbly, but this wobbly pair continues to function for seventy years or more. If you think about the eye among the human organs, you will see that the extraordinary wisdom of Allah has been revealed in it.
If you observe the action of a blink of this eye, you will understand that it is surprising to think how many blessings of Allah Ta'ala are working in its one minute action. Because he is seeing many things by opening his eyes. As the inner energy of the eye is working in it, the creation of the outer world is also taking a special part in it. Eyesight cannot function without sunlight. The sun needs the sky. Humans need food and air to see and function with their eyes. It means that all the energy of the world is used for the blink of an eye. It is a once-in-a-lifetime sight, now it is beyond human power to count how many times a day it is seen and how many times it is seen in a lifetime. In this way, the work of the ears, tongue, hands and feet is completed by joining the energy of the whole world. This is the gift that every living person enjoys. There is no difference between the king and the subjects, the rich and the poor. Moreover, the numerous bounties of Allah Ta'ala are spread so widely that every living being benefits from them. The sky and the earth and all the things created between them like the moon, the sun, the planets, the stars, the air etc. are enjoyed by every living being.
Then the special gifts of Allah Ta'ala which have been given to people more or less in the pursuit of wisdom, wealth, dignity, comfort and luxury are all included in it. Although it is at least basic that the common blessings which are equally enjoyed by all levels of people, such as the sky, the air, the earth and the great nature, are more important and better than the special blessings (such as wealth). But because all these blessings are spread equally among all people, people do not pay attention to such great blessings. People think, what a blessing. Rather, their vision is usually limited to the small things around, such as food, drink, fixed place of residence, house, etc.
In general, the endless blessings that the Creator has bestowed on mankind to facilitate life and life in the world, very little has been described in this context. From that point of view, it was natural for people to be five-faced in praise of the great giver spontaneously from the face to face in the life of the world. Needless to say, in view of the need of human life, in the first sentence of the first Surah of the Qur'an, "Alhamdu" is used and the praise and praise of that great being is used, and the praise and praise of that being is placed at the top of worship.
Rasulullah (SAW) said that when Allah Ta'ala says, "Alhamdulillah" after bestowing any of His favors on a servant, it should be understood that what he has received, this word is much better than what he has received.
Another hadith states that if a person receives all the blessings of the world and that is why he says "Alhamdulillah", it should be understood that his saying "Alhamdulillah" is better than all the blessings of the whole world.
Quoting the comments of some scholars, Qurtubi wrote that saying "Alhamdulillah" in the mouth is a blessing and this blessing is better than all the blessings of the whole world. It is in the Sahih Hadith that "Alhamdulillah" will fulfill half of the punishment of the Hereafter.
Hazrat Shafiq Ibn Ibrahim said in reference to the merits of "Alhamdulillah" that when Allah Ta'ala bestows upon you a boon, first know the Giver and then be satisfied with what He has bestowed. And as long as the strength and power given by Him remain in your body, do not even come close to His disobedience.
