According to current scientific knowledge, human sperm, embryos, and the DNA they contain cannot develop normally on Mars or the Moon without a protected environment.
The reasons include:
* 🧬 DNA cannot survive or function on its own. It must remain inside living cells under suitable biological conditions.
* 🌑 The Moon has virtually no atmosphere, no stable liquid water, extreme temperature swings (about 127°C to −173°C), and intense solar and cosmic radiation. Without protection, living cells and DNA would be rapidly damaged.
* 🔴 Mars has a very thin atmosphere, low temperatures, no stable liquid water on the surface, and much higher radiation levels than Earth.
