Will the UK break into 4 countries?
The United Kingdom could theoretically split into four independent countries, but it is not an established outcome. The UK already consists of four constituent countries:

Is the UK breaking up soon?
There is no confirmed date for the UK to split into four countries. The recent agreement is a political statement, not an automatic legal separation. Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland have different legal processes and levels of public support for independence.
One important distinction: Northern Ireland becoming part of a united Ireland would not mean it becomes an independent country. It would leave the UK and join the Republic of Ireland.
