Google May Start Paying Publishers for AI Content!
Google is reportedly testing a new program called AI Contribution Pilot through Search Console.
The idea is simple: when a publisher’s content significantly contributes to AI-generated answers in Google AI Mode, AI Overviews, or Gemini, the publisher may earn money.
Google has confirmed that this is an early-stage pilot to explore how to reward high-quality content.
🔹 The program is currently limited to selected publishers. 🔹 Reports suggest dozens of publishers have been approached. 🔹 Small and mid-sized publishers are reportedly among those involved. 🔹 It is not yet available to every website.
This could be an important development for website owners who create original content.
For years, publishers have asked Google to compensate them when their content is used in AI-generated answers. Now, Google appears to be testing a possible solution.

In case what will the benefits of advertisers be? if the answer will get in AI mode!
AI contribution pilot is in testing period after Google will decide to pay or not. They will not pay every website or content.
