Google May Start Paying Publishers for AI Content!
Google is reportedly testing a new program called AI Contribution Pilot through Search Console.
The idea is simple: when a publisher’s content significantly contributes to AI-generated answers in Google AI Mode, AI Overviews, or Gemini, the publisher may earn money.
Google has confirmed that this is an early-stage pilot to explore how to reward high-quality content.
