The Socotra Dragon Tree, also known as the Dragon’s Blood Tree, is a rare and unique tree species native to Socotra Island, which is part of Yemen. It is famous for its umbrella-shaped canopy and its striking red sap.



🔴 What is found in the Socotra Dragon Tree?

Dragon’s Blood Resin (Red Sap):
• The most valuable product from this tree is a thick, dark red resin known as “Dragon’s Blood.”
• This resin oozes out when the tree bark is cut.
