Amazon’s new 1.1 million sq-ft campus in Bengaluru, its seco

Amazon’s new 1.1 million sq-ft campus in Bengaluru, its second-largest office in Asia, highlights India’s growing importance in the company’s global strategy. Designed to house around 7,000 employees, the campus supports teams working across engineering, cloud computing (AWS), logistics, payments, and AI-driven services. Bengaluru was chosen due to its deep tech talent pool and strong startup ecosystem, reinforcing the city’s status as India’s Silicon Valley. With $40 billion already invested in India and plans to add another $35 billion by 2030, Amazon is betting big on the country’s digital economy, e-commerce growth, cloud adoption, and export potential—creating thousands of jobs and strengthening India’s role as a global technology and innovation hub.
