🌍 What does Earth’s 23.5° tilt mean?

The Earth is not upright. It is tilted at an angle of 23.5 degrees on its axis while it rotates and revolves around the Sun.



☀️ How does this tilt affect sunlight on Earth?

1️⃣ Seasons are created
When one part of Earth is tilted toward the Sun,
➡️ sunlight falls more directly → summer

When that part is tilted away from the Sun,
➡️ sunlight falls at an angle → winter

👉 Without Earth’s tilt, seasons would not exist.



2️⃣ Length of day and night changes
• Because of the tilt:
• Some places have longer days
• Some have longer nights
• At the poles:
